How it works
An honest guide price in a minute, then real quotes from local scaffolders. Here is exactly what happens – and what happens to your details.
- 1
Get an instant estimate
Tell us the house type, which sides need scaffolding, the height and how long you need it. You see a guide price straight away – no email needed.
- 2
We match local scaffolders
Send your details and we pass the job to up to 3 insured scaffolders who cover your postcode. They may ring with a question or arrange a quick look.
- 3
Compare firm quotes
You get written quotes showing the hire period, what is included and the start date. Choose one – or none. It is free and there is no obligation.
1. Your instant estimate
The estimator asks four things: the type of house, which sides need scaffolding, how many storeys and how long you need it. It works out a guide price from typical 2026 prices for London and the South East, adjusted for your area. You can see the price without giving us any personal details.
2. Your quote request
If you want firm prices, add a few details about the job – what it is for, when you need it and anything unusual about access – plus your name, phone, email and postcode. We use the postcode to find scaffolders who cover your area.
3. Local scaffolders quote
We pass your request to up to 3 scaffolding firms – never more. They usually get in touch within one working day. Many can price from photos and a description; for bigger jobs they will arrange a short visit. Each firm sends you a written quote.
4. You decide
Compare the quotes on what is included – hire period, licences, extras and VAT – as well as price. Accept one directly with the scaffolder, or none at all. Your contract is with the scaffolding company you choose.
How we make money
The service is free for homeowners and landlords. Scaffolding companies pay us for introductions to people who need scaffolding in their area. That does not change the price you are quoted, and we never sell your details for marketing.
The scaffolders we work with
We ask every firm for public liability insurance of at least £5 million and employer’s liability insurance, CISRS-carded scaffolders, and scaffolds built to NASC TG20 guidance. Please still ask to see insurance before work starts – a good scaffolder will be happy to show you.
Insured scaffolders
Firms we pass jobs to must hold at least £5 million public liability insurance and employer’s liability cover.
Qualified crews
We ask for CISRS-carded scaffolders and scaffolds built to the NASC TG20 guidance.
Free, no obligation
Homeowners never pay us. Compare the quotes and only go ahead if you are happy.
Local firms
Your job goes to scaffolders who work in your area – not a national call centre.
